Perform production training
Perform first article approvals (Documentation, Jigs, Set-ups and prototype quality)
Perform final drawing reviews
Complete and release draft manufacturing process instructions and test procedures

This step should start at the beginning of the development stage
This step should finish at the end of the development stage

Input
Engineering prototypes builds reports include: Quality figures, DFX, Material status
Test strategy document

Deliverables
Reports on the build results (quantities, turn-around times, quality levels by yields, main DFX issues)
MRR that formally releases the product for the FCS and first production build
