pretty little liars		Set in the small town of Rosewood, the series follows the lives of four girls, Spencer Hastings, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, and Emily Fields, whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader, Alison DiLaurentis. One year later, the estranged friends are reunited as they begin receiving messages from a mysterious figure named "A", who threatens to expose their deepest secrets, including ones they thought only Alison knew. At first, they think it's Alison herself, but after her body is found, the girls realize that someone else is planning on ruining their lives.[4]
gossip girl		The series begins with the return of Upper East Side It girl Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) from a mysterious stay at a boarding school in Cornwall, Connecticut.[1] Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), whom creators describe as the queen at the center of their chess game,[2] is a longtime friend and occasional rival of Serena's, and the queen bee of Constance Billard School's social scene.[3] The story also follows scholarship student Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley), a self-described "outsider" from Brooklyn, "golden boy" Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford), Blair's longtime boyfriend, and "bad boy" Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick), Nate's best friend. Other characters of the turbulent Manhattan scene: Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr), Dan's best friend. Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen), Dan's younger sister. Lily van der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford), Serena's mother, and Rufus Humphrey (Matthew Settle), Dan and Jenny's father, and Dorota (Zuzanna Szadkowski) Blair's maid.
the 100		The series is set 97 years after a devastating nuclear war wiped out almost all life on Earth. The only known survivors lived on 12 space stations in Earth's orbit prior to the war. The space stations banded together to form a single massive station named "The Ark", where about 2,400 people live under the leadership of Chancellor Jaha.[1] Resources are scarce, so all crimes – regardless of their nature or severity – are punishable by ejection into space ("floating") unless the perpetrator is under 18 years of age. After the Ark's life-support systems are found to be critically failing, 100 juvenile prisoners are declared "expendable" and sent to the surface – nearby former Washington, D.C.[9] – in a last ditch attempt to determine if Earth is habitable again, in a program called "The 100", for which the show is named. The teens arrive on a seemingly pristine planet they have only seen from space. They attempt to find refuge and supplies at an old military installation, Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Unfortunately, they land some distance from the intended target and soon face other problems. Confronting both the wonders and the dangers of this rugged new world, they struggle to form a tentative community. They soon discover that not all humanity was wiped out – some people on Earth, called Grounders, survived the war, and there are more dangers lurking: Reapers (Grounders who have become cannibals) and Mountain Men (who live in Mount Weather, The 100's original destination).
friends		Rachel Green flees her wedding day and seeks out childhood friend Monica Geller, a New York City chef. They become roommates, and Rachel joins Monica's social circle of single people in their mid-20s: struggling actor Joey Tribbiani, business professional Chandler Bing, masseuse and musician Phoebe Buffay, and newly divorced paleontologist Ross Geller, Monica's older brother. To support herself, Rachel becomes a waitress at Central Perk, a Manhattan coffeehouse where the group often hangs out; when not there, the six are usually at Monica and Rachel's nearby West Village apartment, or Joey and Chandler's across the hall.
